Drunken Aussie Beef Burgers



These Drunken Aussie Beef Burgers are a flavorful twist on classic burgers, featuring a hint of beer in the patty mixture. Perfect for a BBQ or casual dinner with friends!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup beer your choice
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Bacon strips
  • Ketchup and mustard for topping

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, beer, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, diced onions, minced garlic, and the egg

Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties

Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat

Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness

While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster

Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a minute

To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a burger patty, tomato slices, bacon strips, and the top bun

Serve your Drunken Aussie Beef Burgers hot, with ketchup and mustard on the side for topping
